So i have been asked if I can make a business card holder, and i make all different kinds. But they kind be used as different things. So i wanted to make something just for business cards! :)

Here is my finished product

This is the inside of the holder. Has two pockets, so it can hold many business cards!

Isn't it cute! It closes with a snap, and it has a key fob so you can attach it to your keys. Or i can make a wristlet!

I sell these for $8.00 + shipping, depends on where you live.

Badge Reels

Cute new item in my shop!

 These are badge reels! They are to hold you ID or badges. Great for work!

                                                                                            This is how the back looks. Has a metal clip to hold on your pocket. or shirt and even your purse.

Here is an example of how i can personalize it :)  They are rhinestones! How cute is that!?

 Just another version. I can make these in any fabric, any color you would like!

These are my favorite. Cute Flower badge reels. Very unique, and no one will have them!


They are also good to hold the USB holders that i make or even the zipper pouches. Everything is handy!

iPhone Wallets

Today i was able to go to Jo Anns! We don't live near any fabric stores, so every once in a while we take the trip up there! I was so excited hehe i got a bunch of new fabrics! They are adorable. I also finally was able to get some fabric to make my son's diaper bag! I feel so bad i haven't been able to make it, i have been so busy with orders! I am determined to take sometime and make it for him!

I am busy with orders and wanted to show you some pics of what i have done. I made a couple of iPhone wallets (i love these) and all my customers love them as well.. since they are so practical.

These are the iPhone Wallets. They have three pockets.. one for your iPhone/wallet. and the other two are for cash and credit cards. This also has the key fob so you can attach to your keys. but i do make some wristlets to attach to the key fob.. so you know exactly where your phone and money. No more having to look through your purse for the ringing phone, or your wallet! It also closes with an elastic. So everything is nice and secure.

St. Patricks Day

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to do a quick blog. I'm trying to keep up with this and have it updated. Its hard having a business and being a mom. But I'm so lucky i can do what i like. As you can see I'm going to try and post a new business each week. I want to help promote small businesses :)

I am also writing about each item I make and what they are used for. I love sewing and being creative.

I recently had a baby boy, we named him Chase. And I'm sewing only when I can. Mostly when he is asleep and when my hubby has off. But it's great cause I can still sew and keep my business going while being a mom:)

Today was a normal day for us here. I worked on cutting some fabric for some bridal clutches. They are made of linen and each one is going to have a different color fabric!










Then I'm also working on a shoulder bag to add to my shop. I have a lot of big bags and I thought I need one that is small but can hold all the essentials.

Let me make you your bridesmaids gifts! I make some cute clutches and wristlets! They can be in your weddings colors, or in your bridesmaids favorite colors! I make 3 different types of clutches and wristlets. I can add removable flowers, and decorative rhinestone pendants. I can even embellish the clutches in the bridesmaids first initial with rhinestones.

 Here is a clutch made from linen and closes with a heavy duty snap and a cute pocket on the inside. It also has a removable flower. The flower has an alligator clip so you can use it as a hair clip as well.

These are some other clutches i have made. They can come in any color you want!

Another example. Cute gray and black damask clutch.

This is another version of the clutches/wristlets i make. It has a removable strap so it can turn into a clutch. but its also a wristlet. This is the ruffled wristlet.

Very cute black and white damask that is combined with the pink. It looks so adorable. the pink can be changed to your weddings color, for example purple.

This is the third clutch that i make. Its a 5" frame (I can make it a 7" frame if you want it)

 This is super cute and classy. This also can be made in any color combination!

How long have you owned your business?

- Since Sept 2012 (In 2010 I originally opened but at that time it was called Butterfly Kisses Creations)

What was the inspiration for opening your business?

-My kids and my love for crocheting. I love handmade goods and I wanted to share my talent with others.

Describe your business and your goal.

-All items are handmade by me and me alone. I put love and care into every stitch and take my time to make your item to the best of my ability. A goal of mine is for every household in America to have a PDBT Creation J

What is the best/hardest part about having your own business?

-Best part: I make my own hours and love seeing the smile on customers faces.

Worst part: I can’t crochet as fast as my mind works!

Do you take custom orders? If so, what is your normal turn around time?

- Yes I do. Everything I make is custom made to order. Almost all the creations in my shop are first time tries that were a customer request. So if you can think it up, I can probably make it, and if not I don’t hesitate to tell you. I won’t make a promise I can’t keep.

I tell customers my turn around time is 2-6wks just to cover myself because I am in nursing school and I have 3 kids at home. My husband is in the military so sometimes he’s not at home.

What is the best way for customers to contact you?

-The best way to contact me is through email polka_dot_tots@yahoo.com or through my Facebook page www.facebook.com/polkadotbabytots. You can leave me a comment on my wall or message me privately.

How long does it take you to respond to emails?

-I respond almost immediately. Everything comes to my phone if I’m not near my computer, and if I am near my computer, it stays open all day and I randomly refresh the page(s)

Do you have a staff?

-No I do not. It’s me and only  me and that’s probably a good thing as I am a little bit of a perfectionist. Plus I want every PDBT customer to know that I, the owner of PDBT, handmade their creation.

Do you support or sponsor any events or charities?

-I try to support and/or sponsor a cause of some type as often as I can, even if it’s not a ‘nationally known cause’. I have done a raffle to help raise money to find a cure for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). I’ve also participated in auctions to help raise money for families in need.

Custom Orders

So i have been working on a lot of custom orders. Which i absolutely love. I love creating things out of nothing and letting my imagination run wild! Not only that, but that's one of the reasons why i started my business. I wanted to create what you want. Everything from the style, to the color, and all the little details. So you have your own unique stylish item made for you! You don't have to go to the store wishing, that the purse had an extra pocket, or a zipper instead of the snap.... You tell me what you want and i make it!

I'm pretty good with timing as well. I love to make it and send it out to you as soon as possible. I work with you and always want to make you happy! I make purses, to zipper pouches, to clutches, even to scarfs!

I want my service to be the best, and want you to come back! In other words i just want you to be happy with what i make for you :)

This is actually for one of my best customers! She has bought from me many times. A beautiful hobo bag and matching wristlet :)

I live in Baltimore! haha so someone wanted a scarf made! I was more than happy to create a Baltimore Ravens scarf.

Another repeat customer! She is great and started up her own business and wanted a notepad portfolio and a matching pouch for her phone.

This is a diaper bag / weekender bag. I love how big it is. This customer wanted skulls! I love how it turned out!

Beautiful unique clutch. This was made for another business owner who wanted to take this to craft shows to put her money.
